Philippe Lejeune
"Back to 1100AD, Chambert was already
covered with vines and in 1690 its wine were exported all over
Europe. Such heritage gives Chambert significant respect. My
mission is to pursue what has been done for the last 10 centuries,
bottling the purest expression of my terroir.
To accomplish this, I'm working on this 150
acres vineyard the same way I'd do to my private garden where
each plant and insect has it's place. Mother nature naturally
finds it's balance point and my mission is to avoid altering it.
This is why the entire vineyard is nursed and worked organically
with biodynamics. I respect my planet and its fruit." |
