This is based on respect for natureand and simple ethics. Its strict quality controls cover all aspects of vine-growing: - All the vineyard uses only sustainable agricultural practices - Soils are tilled and respected - Weeds are controlled with no use of chemicals (by special ploughs and other mechanical means) - Organic compost is used - Pests and diseases are controlled by products that do not harm natural predators (no synthetic chemicals are used) - We look to constantly improve the health of the vineyard Grape varieties: Malbec, the historical variety in Cahors, is the dominant grape, and has to comprise at least 70% of any Cahors wine.
